Celebrate Behringer-Crawford Museum's 25th year of freshART with 25 hours of creativity from 25 of the region's best artists!
Over the past quarter-century, BCM's freshART gala has raised more than a quarter million dollars for the museum's educational outreach programs, thanks to the generous efforts of local artists who spent a day working en plein air in Covington's Devou Park to create works for the event's live auction. For freshART's silver anniversary, we're going big, with lots of new features.
  • New Location: The elegant Drees Pavilion overlooking the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati
  • New Hours: 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 17
  • New Ticket Price: Patron admission price reduced by $25 to just $75.
  • New Live Auction: The area's top artists will have up to 25 hours between Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon to create original art which will be sold Sunday evening at the auction.
  • New Silent Auction: Previously completed artwork in a wide range of media will be available for bidding at BCM from September 2-16, and at the Drees on the day of the event. An opening reception for silentART will take place at the museum from 5-7 p.m. on September 2.
New Art From The Heart: "Painterly Desert", a mixed-media, acrylic/pastel piece created in 1998 by the late renowned artist Wolfgang Ritschel will be a highlight of the live auction.
