Abraham Lincoln & Northern Kentucky / Cincinnati

February 12 - June 14, 2009
Lincoln’s visit to and influence on the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, slavery, the Civil War, Abolitionism, life of Black Americans both slave and free during the 1850s and 1860s. Featuring original documents bearing Lincoln's signature, and artifacts from private collections never before seen by the public. Don't miss this searching exhibit exploring the life and times of our 16th president!

Visit Behringer-Crawford Museum and experience...

Travel through the region’s history along Rivers, Roads, Rails & Runways enjoying artifacts, interactive displays and hands-on activities.  Hear the stories of the commuters on the Kentucky, the last streetcar of its kind known to exist in the U.S.; climb the Roebling Bridge and pilot a packet boat along the Ohio River; stop in at the drive-in theater and enjoy the show in a 1959 Buick; and, soar through the development of the International Airport.  Devou Park provides scenic views of Covington and nearby Cincinnati.

Therefore, the Behringer-Crawford Museum is a center for the collection, presentation, study and enjoyment of our natural, cultural, and visual and performing arts heritage.
