The Perfect Antidote for the Post-Holiday Blues

Now that the official gift-giving of the 2020 holiday season is over, treat yourself or a loved one with a straw hamper stuffed with Kentucky goodies guaranteed to ease the after-Christmas letdown.

Say farewell to 2020 and hello to a brand-new year with Behringer-Crawford Museum's "Home for the Holidays" raffle, which has been extended through February. For a $5 donation, you get a chance to win more than $650 worth of products generously donated by local businesses and individuals, from coffee, donuts, jams and pretzels to candles, t-shirts, jewelry and books, plus gift certificates galore for food and more.

Not quite ready to put away your holiday décor? Add to your collection with two custom-made Department 56 displays. Valued at $250, the displays were designed and donated by Ellen and Dave Somerwill, who create BCM's Charles Dickens Victorian Village exhibit each year. An adorable little red wagon carries a miniature toy shop, while a Lionel train station and vintage figurines would be the perfect accessories for an undertree model train set. Tickets for the Department 56 raffle are also just $5 each.

Tickets for both raffles are available by calling 859-491-4003 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
